Sudan's foreign minister in Washington

In his first official visit, the Sudanese foreign minister Mustafa Othman Ismael arrived in Washington at an official invitation from the US Congress to take part in an annual breakfast to be attended by persons representing all religions and beliefs.
The Sudanese news agency said that Ismael will also hold talks with members of the US Congress and officials at the administration of the US President George Bush on issues of mutual concern.
Worthy mentioning that the US administration launched a peace initiative in Sudan to achieve national reconciliation in addition to the joint Libyan- Egyptian initiative agreed by all Sudanese sides.
