Israeli, Palestinian businessmen meet at World Economic Forum

Israeli and Palestinian businessmen taking part at the World Economic Forum in New York said they have decided to convene periodical meetings and giving a push forward to bilateral co-operation.
New reports quoted the chairman of the Israeli chamber of commerce Dan Gillermann as saying to the press on Monday that the officials of these companies who formed a permanent team will meet continuously in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
The Israeli official added that this team will meet shortly with the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat and the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon. The team will try to convince the two sides that negotiations is a basic and necessary and that economic prosperity is also important.
