Khaddam reviews with al-Eryani Arab conditions

Syrian vice President Abdul Halim Khaddam on Monday in Damascus received Abdul karim al-Eryani, the secretary general of the general people's conference in Yemen and members of the accompanying delegation, in the presence of the Yemeni charge de affairs in Damascus.

Discussions dealt with the current Arab condition and the urgent need to maintain Arab solidarity in order to withstand the grave threats facing the Arab nation, foremost being the Israeli danger and "the foreign hegemony."

Discussions also dealt with historical " brotherly " relations between the two states and the importance of reactivating cooperation between the two parties and the governments of the two states.
