Israeli minister arrives in Moscow

Israel's deputy prime minister and minister of construction Nathan Sharanski arrived on Monday in Moscow to take part in the inauguration of the joint chamber of commerce between Israel and Russia.
The Russian Itar- Tass news agency said that Sharanski will meet during this visit with the representatives of the Russian leadership especially the foreign minister Igor Ivanov and will discuss with the situation in the Middle East region in light of the meeting held by international mediators concerning the peace process.
News reports indicated the Sharanski was also to ask Russia to stop supplying Iran with technology that allows it to build advanced missiles and possibly nuclear weapons.
