Cairo, chosen to be a regional centre for G&D

Geiski and Derivant, the pioneering company in the field of smart cards, has chosen Egypt to be a regional centre for its activities, after inaugurating its office for the Middle East and North Africa in Cairo.
The regional manager of the company in the Middle East and North Africa, said that this step is a strong evidence of the company's commitment towards the markets of the region, and its deep trust in the Egyptian economy bearing that Egypt is the main gateway for this region.
It is well known that the German company G & D company was established in Munich in 1852 and has grown to become one of the pioneering companies in the fields of smart cards and ATMs used in banks,financial inistitutions,transportation, health care , identity cards , the coded TV channels and the multi media protection and the Internet electronic transaction infrastructure.
The company has branches in seventeen markets, the most important of which are the USA, Britain, China and Russia.
