European Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy will visit three Mashriq countries

European Trade Commissioner Pascal Lamy will visit three Mashriq countries from 6 to 10 February. In all three countries he will meet government representatives.
Mr Lamy will be in Damascus on 6 and 7 February where he will have discussions on EU-Syria negotiations for an Association Agreement. He will visit Lebanon on 8 February where discussions will focus on the recently initialled Association Agreement. He will then proceed to Jordan where Regional Integration in the framework of the Agadir initiative will be high on the agenda.
