Yemen arrests 43 Indonesian students
Yemen-Indonesia, Local, 2/4/2002

Indonesia has considered that arresting 43 Indonesian students linked to extremists groups by the Yemeni authorities is considered as nonobjective matter.

News reports quoted the spokesman for the Indonesian foreign ministry Wahid Seryadi as saying on Saturday that the Yemenis arrested the students in boarding schools in Sanaa and in Hadramout district as part of their campaign against terrorism.

He added that the Yemeni authorities keeps a close eye on the Islamic teaching institutes and despite that it had arrested " some of our students studying there."
