Atomic Energy team leaves Iraq following routine inspection

The team representing the International Agency for Atomic Energy led by the Polish Andre Petroviski left Iraq on Thursday after ending a mission lasted for five days during which it carried out an annual routine inspection operation for Iraqi sites.

Petroviski made no detailed information to the press about his mission but he said that his team which is composed of seven members faced no problems in its work which falls in the course of the agreement signed between Iraq and the IAAE in 1972.

Upon arriving in Amman back from Baghdad, Petroviski said the Iraqis were coooperative.
