Turkmani receives commander of the Lebanese army

The Syrian army chief of staff Lt. Gen. Hassan Turkmani received at his office on Thursday in Damascus the commander of the Lebanese army Lt. Gen. Michael Suleiman and members of the accompanying delegation.
The Lebanese army commander congratulated Lt. Gen. Turkmani for assuming his post of office and wished him "best wishes of success in performing his mission to strengthening relations between the two sisterly states."
Discussions dealt with the developments of conditions in the region and coordination and cooperation relations between the two states and means of developing them in the service of Syria and Lebanon.
