Work in Toshka makes progress

Egyptian Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mahmoud Abu Zeid said that work in Toshka achieves continuous progress.
He added that workers in the project are ready for President Mubarak visit to celebrate the extension of Nile water to irrigate 12000 Feddans.
Abu Zeid pointed out that Mrs. Mubarak would attend soon the celebration marking the improving and developing Nile Bank villages in its first stage that included 77 villages in Upper Egypt with the cost of LE 190 million in cooperation with the Social Fund for Development.
Meanwhile, Abu Zeid highlighted that 40 world experts of international centre of irrigation and drainage in the Mediterranean countries gave their attestation for the Toshka project.
