Arab industrial organization signs MOU with saudi meteorology, environment protection department

The Arab Mining and Industrial Development Organization signed in Rabat on Wednesday a memorandum of understanding with the Saudi department of meteorology and environment protection.
The MOU provides for exchange of data and expertise for the improvement of technical capacities of the two bodies.
General manager of the Arab organization, Mohamed Dafir, stressed that in addition to industrialization in the Arab world, his organization faces a new challenge of addressing negative ecological effects of industrial activity.
The memorandum was signed by Dafir and Prince Torki Ben Nasser Ben Abdelaziz, general manager of the Saudi department of meteorology and environment protection, in the presence of Morocco's minister of territory development, urbanism, housing and environment, Mohamed El Yazghi.
