Syria complains over the American 6th fleet act against two Syrian ships

The Syrian foreign ministry on Wednesday summoned the American Charge de Affairs in Damascus and informed him Syria's strong protest against the "sniping" operation carried out by ships of the 6th American fleets against two Syrian trade ships transporting citrus from the Turkish port of Marseen. The Syrian foreign ministry asked the American embassy a clarification for this violation of the norms of the international law.
