The washing of holy Kaaba

The Emir of Mecca district on Wednesday morning washed the holy Kaaba, on behalf of the Saudi Arabia's King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz, in line of the annual tradition made with approaching al- -Haj rituals.
The washing process of " the holy Kaaba" is made from the inside with Zamzam waters which is mixed with 'flowers perfume' by textile pieces wet with this perfumed mixture.
The washing includes the four walls of the Kaaba of 1.5 meters height and its ground and then the site is dried by an incense prepared specially for this occasion.
The washing of al-Kaaba was also attended by several Saudi princes, ministers, men of religion and members of the Arab and Islamic diplomatic missions accredited to Saudi Arabia.
