Hamas announces manufacturing missiles of 10 km range

A high ranking official at the Islamic resistance movement Hamas announced recently in an interview with an American TV networking that the movement manufactures missiles whose range reaches some 10 Km and can target the suburbs of Jerusalem..

Abu Marzouk told the American CBS TV networking " we want to resist the occupation by these missiles." During the "60 Minutes" program Abu Marzouk added that the " Israelis enter into the Palestinian houses by tanks to destroy them and to kill people." He added that the Israelis destroyed 73 houses and people can no more bear that. He questioned " are weapons only permitted for Israel and not for the Palestinians?"

Replying to a question on whether the Palestinian President Yasser Arafat is able to prevent Hamas from attacking Israel, Marzouk said that the chairman of the Palestinian Authority speaks in the name of " Palestinians, but not the name of all the Palestinians." Abu Marzouk added " I can assure to you that most of the Palestinian people support at the meantime the Hamas movement." He added that " Arafat tried several times to freeze the Hamas movement but did not succeed
