King Mohammed receives Mauritanian premier

Morocco's King Mohammed VI received this Wednesday noon at the royal palace in Marrakesh Mauritanian Premier, Cheikh El Afia Ould Mohamed Khouna, who is leading his country's delegation to the second session of the Moroccan-Mauritanian high joint commission.
The Mauritanian official told reporters he conveyed to the king a message of friendship and esteem from the Mauritanian president. He said the sovereign also asked him to convey his greetings and esteem to the Mauritanian head of state and hailed the cooperation ties between the two countries.
The Mauritanian Premier was accompanied by secretary of state in charge of the Arab Maghreb, Hamma Ould Soueilim, and Mauritania's ambassador to Rabat, Mohamed Fadel Ould Dah. On the Moroccan side, the audience was attended by advisor to the King, Abdelaziz Meziane Belfqih, director of the royal office, Mohamed Rochdi Chraibi, secretary of state for the interior, Fouad Ali Al Himma, and Morocco's ambassador to Mauritania, Abderrahmane Benomar.
