An Israeli plan to isolate Jerusalem

The Israeli authorities have drawn a plan for separating the two parts of Jerusalem states to install isolation areas between the Palestinians and the Israeli settlers, to prevent the Palestinians from entering the city and to increase the number of soldiers inside it.

The Israeli minister of the Interior Ozi Landao said that this separation plan is part of a wider and more comprehensive plan to isolate all Palestinian territories into aggregations under the direct Israeli military control.

Landao explained that the plan states in one part of it to divide Jerusalem to two areas, Eastern and Western areas through installing a huge wall between the two parts and to kill immediately any Palestinian who approaches it.

The Israeli minister disclosed that the wall separating the Eastern and western parts of Jerusalem would eventually define vast areas along the said wall and from the Palestinian side as areas banned to be reached which also means that more Palestinian houses and establishments will be demolished. He added that this example will be applied on other Palestinian areas which means the implementation of the policy of uprooting the Palestinians from their lands and expelling them in the framework of the " Transfer" policy used by the Israeli authorities.

Meantime, Israeli tanks and bulldozers on Tuesday incurred into Bethlehem area for 500 meters, inspected Artas and Nouzeh villages and arrested six members of the Palestinian security, while Palestinian sources said that the Israeli forces kidnapped the Palestinian youth Sharif Youssef Muhammad Haleima while breaking into Qalqilya city under the pretext of his being a member in the " Hamas " movement.

The Israeli tanks bombarded Beit Jala and the bombardment resulted in heavy damages in houses and properties.

The Palestinian teenagers retaliated by opening fire at an Israeli settlement and this resulted in heavy damages in six Israeli flats and a military position..

This was preceded by Israel's breaking into Naem village near Ramullah and arresting four of its citizens, while the israeli tanks incurred into Qarrara town to the south of Gaza and opened its shell fire at the Palestinian centers.
