Yassin voices support to Arafat's stances
Palestine, Politics, 1/30/2002
The founder of the Hamas movement Ahmad Yassin has expressed his support for the recent stances taken by the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat in his rejection to abide by the Israeli instructions under the siege imposed by the Israeli occupation forces.
This was expressed by a telephone call Yassin made with Arafat in which he expressed his sympathy and support while the Israeli forces impose a " home arrest" at his residence in Ramullah since several weeks.
Sheikh Yassin told the " Jerusalem" daily issued in occupied Jerusalem that the Palestinian people will not accept any figure imposed on them by the Israelis.
