Ministerial reshuffle in Qatar

The ruler of Qatar Sheikh Hamad Bin Khaleifa al-Thani on Tuesday made a limited ministerial reshuffle stated to found a ministry of economy and commerce after it was one ministry having the two sectors together with the financial affairs department.
The Qatari news agency said that the ruler of Qatar decided to appoint Sheikh Hamad Bin Faisal al-Thani as a minister of the economy and commerce, while Youssef Hussein Kamal will be appointed as a minister of finance after he was the minister of economy, commerce and finance.
The last ministerial reshuffle in Qatar was in July 2001 when the Qatari government abrogated the ministries of telecommunications and transport and decided to found specialized departments for civil aviation, customs, and port instead of them.
