Sharon knows no dialogue language, Israel loser if Arafat disappears
Egypt-Israel, Politics, 1/29/2002
Mostafa Al-Fiqi, Chairman of the People's Assembly Foreign Affairs Committee, said Arabs now need a new media discourse that stands in the face unjust allegations that associate of Islam with terrorism.
In a meeting on the fringe of the Cairo International Book Fair (CIBF), Fiqi said that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is not ready for a dialogue and does not believe in political solutions.
"Sharon has come only to liquidate the Palestinian issue and bring Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat to his knees and anyway he did not achieve the security he promised Israelis with," said Fiqi.
