Iraq-Iran, Politics, 1/29/2002
The London- based al-Hayat daily said in its Monday's issue quoting well-informed Iranian sources that Tehran got during the visit made by the Iraqi foreign minister Naji Sabri al- Hadithi to Iran an Iraqi promise to limit the activity of the Iranian armed opposition as from the Iraqi territories, while Iraq got a promise to provide possible aids in case it will be exposed to a US military blow. The paper said that the Iranian support to Iraq will not be military, rather political and humanitarian.
