Jordan king starts a visit to Saudi Arabia

The Jordanian King Abdullah II on Sunday started an important visit to Saudi Arabia which will last for two days during which he will hold talks with the Saudi leadership dealing with latest developments on the Arab and international arenas and revitalizing Arab solidarity and joint work.

Well- informed sources said that King Abdullah will discuss the case between Iraq and Kuwait with the Saudi leadership.

Arab diplomatic sources said that the Jordanian King will discuss with the Saudi political leadership the file of the "case between Iraq and Kuwait" in order to get acquainted with the Saudi views and position towards the Iraqi thoughts conveyed by President Saddam Hussein recently to the Arab League chief Amr Moussa.

The sources said that the Jordanian King would have spent Sunday in al-Riyadh and will leave it today for Kuwait within the framework of consultations and contacts to review developments of conditions and Arab and international conditions.

These sources added that the Jordanian King who is assigned by the Arab summit in Amman will work for pushing forward efforts to revive the Iraqi file especially in regard to making contacts with UN chief so as to prevent the US strikes against Iraq through searching for an appropriate solution prevents such a strike.
