Arafat messages to Blair, Spanish government
Palestine, Politics, 1/28/2002
The chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat on Saturday evening urged Britain and Spain to work for halting the Israeli military aggressions against the unarmed Palestinian people.
Official Palestinian sources explained that Arafat's call was made in two messages he had sent to the British prime minister Tony Blair and to the Spanish government( Spain is the current president of the European Union).
The two messages dealt with latest political developments in the occupied Palestinian territories in light of the escalated Israeli aggression against the unarmed Palestinian and the efforts made to halt this aggression.
