Sudan, Politics, 1/28/2002
The Sudanese foreign ministry secretary Mutrraf Saddiq has denied the existence of any secret items in the agreement between the government of Sudan and the rebels movement which was signed in Switzerland just one week concerning the cease fire in al-Nouba mountains in Sudan.
Saddiq said in a meeting with the Sudanese press leaderships that the agreement is based on the four ideas proposed by the American envoy to Sudan John Danforth which aimed at achieving peace and stability in al-Nouba mountain and to be a base for peace in other areas.
