Israel prevents Palestinian official from heading to Lebanon

The justice official at the Palestinian Authority Freij Abu Medyan has stated that the Israeli authorities prevented him from heading to Beirut to take part in the periodical meeting of the Arab ministers of the Interior due to be held in Beirut today.
Abu Medyan said that despite the fact he applied for the departure one week before to the Israeli authorities to permit him to leave in the periodical annual meeting for the Arab ministers of the Interior, Israel until now did not permit him to leave.
The Israeli authorities prevented Abu Medyan on November 2001 from heading to Cairo to attend the periodical meeting of the Arab ministers of justice.
