Morocco, EU sign cooperation program
Morocco and the European Union signed Thursday a cooperation program worth 426 Mln Euros, part of the MEDA financial cooperation for 2002-2004.

The European Commission on 21 January published a 'Programming Document 2002-2004' for the European Initiative for Democracy and Human Rights, which in the Mediterranean region follows on from the previous MEDA Democracy Programme.

The third in a series of 12 training seminars to be held in the framework of the MEDA funded 'Euro-Mediterranean Energy Policy Training Network' will take place from 27 to 31 January in Tel Aviv. The seminar will focus on energy markets and on the economics and financing of energy projects.
