More Arab tourists visit Morocco

The number of Middle-East and Gulf tourists visiting Morocco increased by 6 percent in 2001 compared to 2000, the Moroccan tourism office said.
Some 68,374 tourists from the region visited Morocco during 2001 against to 64.517 in 2000.
Saudi visitors top the list with 30.853 tourists, followed by Egyptians with 9.460.
Other tourists came mainly from Bahrain, Syria, Iraq and the United Arab Emirates.
