Some 25 Israelis wounded, two Palestinians killed, some Israeli soldiers refuse to oppress the Palestinians

Two young Palestinians were shot to the south of Gaza while a Palestinian youth carried out a suicide attack to the south of Tel Aviv resulted in wounding 25 Israeli, three of them in a critical condition.

Commander of Tel Aviv Police said that the executor of the operation was carrying it from a bike near a coach station in " Neve Shaana" settlement near Tel Aviv, while the whole region was exposed to an inspection campaign in search of other explosives and the Israeli police closed the doors and separated the Palestinian areas from each other.

One Israeli soldier was wounded when the Palestinians confronted an Israeli military car which tries to break into Sidon village onto Toulkarem district and the Palestinian Intifada youths fired three mortars at israeli targets at Eirez barrier to the north of Gaza.

The Israeli forces reinforced its presence in al-Teira, al-Beira and Beitonia and launched a campaign of arrest in Tallousa village, Jenin district, while more than 3,000 Palestinians took part in the funeral of martyr Baker Hamdan ( 36 year old), who was assassinated by the Israeli Apatchi planes in Khan Younis on Thursday, chanting anti- Israeli occupation slogans and stressing continued Intifada.

At the time when the spokesman for the Israeli government Douri Gold threatened to embark on new methods to striking the Palestinians, the chairman of the Palestinian legislative council Ahmad Qrei warned against the risks of the current conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories as a result of the continued measures by the Israeli government aiming at destroying the peace process.

In a press conference following talks with French officials, Qrei expressed his regret over the US position which is biased to Israeli, referring to the US abstention from interfering to halt the Israeli breaking in operation and attacks in the Palestinian cities.

On the other hand, it was announced that 53 Israeli reserve army soldiers and officers in the Israeli army refused to take part in the future in oppressing the Palestinians and occupying the Palestinian territories.

In a statement issued in the Israeli dailies on Friday these soldiers said that the Palestinian territories in the West Bank and Gaza are not part of Israel and by the ultimate end the settlement built on it will be dismantled..

The statement added that these soldiers will not continue to fight behind what is called the green line which separates between Israel and the Palestinian territories with the aim of expelling, humiliating and making hungry a complete community. The said Israeli soldiers who undersigned the statement belong to all fighting Israeli units.

This is, however, the first time since the Palestinian uprising of September 2000, a statement of this kind is published, although it is considered a call to obstinate from serving in the Palestinian territories.

Meantime, the Israeli " Yash Ghafoul" movement said that 200 Israeli soldiers, most of them reserve soldiers refused to join their military units in the Palestinian territories since the eruption of the Intifada and many of them were punished.
