Jordan and al-Wahda dam

Jordan's minister of waters and irrigation Hazem al-Nasser has stressed Jordan's determination to build al-Wahda dam on al-Yarmouk river.
In a statement to the al-Lewa's weekly issued on Wednesday, he said " we will finish in the very near time special studies to this project and then implementation process will start this year with full coordination with the Syrian brothers to this effect who view our water needs realistically."
The Jordanian minister explained that the al-Wahda dam project is an important project as it will provide amounts of waters for irrigation and drinking purposes.
