One of Hobeiqa's guards is missing

The London- based al-Sharq al-Awsat daily said in its Friday's issue that search has been made for an escort of the former Lebanese minister and parliament member Eli Hobeiqa who was assassinated on Thursday in Beirut.

The paper said that preliminary investigations showed that one of Hobeiqa's escorts was moving at the site of the explosion which claimed the life of Hobeiqa just few minutes from the incident and he was seen in the site where the booby trapped car was placed before he disappeared. Until Thursday evening it was not known whether this escort was found or not.
