Miro meets with Sarraf
Syria-Lebanon, Economics, 1/25/2002

The Syrian Prime Minister Muhammad Mustafa Miro on Thursday received the chairman of the Lebanese industrialists society Jacque Sarraf and members of the accompanying delegation.

The meeting was attended by the chairman of the Damascus Chamber of industry Samer akl- Debis and the secretary general of the Syria- Lebanese higher council Nasri al-Khouri.

Discussions dealt with the importance of strengthening cooperation relations between the two states especially in trade and economic areas and the development of cooperation relations between Syrian and Lebanese businessmen through the establishing of joint projects, exhibitions and marketing the two countries' s products.

Discussions also dealt with the mechanism of accelerating joint work and eliminating hindering obstacles and facilitate measures so as to draw a strategic vision for industry between the two states.
