Gafi approves 6 new free zones

Mohamed Ghamrawi, Chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), Wednesday approved six new investment projects in the free zones with investments totaling 830 million.
They include three projects to liquefy natural gas for export. It will be set up at Giza.A fourth project will be set up on an area of 3,000 square meters in the free zone at Alexandria.
It will undertake the operation and maintenance of oil refineries.
A fifth project will be set up on an area of 1,000 square meters in the free zone at Alexandria.
It will provide technical services to oil companies.
The sixth project will be set up in the free zone at Nasr City to serve projects in the free zone.
