Arrangements for Yemen's joining certain Gulf establishments

The Yemeni government has formed a ministerial committee to draw necessary arrangements for Yemen's joining certain establishments at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
News reports said that the committee which is chaired by the deputy premier and finance minister Alawai Saleh al-Salami will study the framework agreement between Yemen and the GCC and defining later steps for Yemen to have a full membership to the GCC into other GCC economic and political departments.
The committee includes several ministers including the ministers of legal affairs, industry, commerce, foreign affairs, youths, sports, higher education, scientific researches, planning and social affairs and labor in addition to the director of the political department at the office of the prime minister as a member and a rapparateur.
The Yemeni government also approved the formation of a work team of specialists in the cabinet to study the regulations and to make use of the expertise to be provided by the GCC in order to ensure smooth move towards partnership and merging into the GCC.
