Al-Assad gets a message from Musharraf

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday received Abbas Khan and Muhammad Taher ul- Qadri, the two envoys of President Musharraf of the Republic of Pakistan.
The meeting was attended by Pakistan's ambassador in Damascus Yahya Naqawi. AL-Assad got from the two envoys a message from the Pakistani President relating to current developments on the international arena.
Discussions dealt with the tense situation in each of the Arab region and southern east Asia and the need of mobilizing international efforts to alleviate this tension in the two area so as to attain peaceful solutions to conflicts.
Discussions also dealt with bilateral relations and means of strengthening them.
