Tourism recession in Israel

Number of tourists arrival to Israel in 2001 has been greatly decreased in comparison to the figure of tourists arrivals in 2000 and this is because of the Palestinian uprising. The Israeli statistical bureau announced on Tuesday that the reduction rate in the number of tourists reached 51% and that this drastic recession is the highest since the Gulf war in 1991.
