Danish ambassador criticizes Israel

The Danish ambassador in Damascus Olet Oleson has stated that the Israelis do not hear the European view point despite the intensive efforts made the European Union officials.
In a statement to the Jordanian daily al-Arab al-Youm issued on Tuesday, the ambassador said that the Israelis described Denmark's prime minister as a terrorist and anti Jews when he criticized the elections of Ariel Sharon as an Israeli prime minister.
Oleson condemned, in the name of his government the siege imposed on the Palestinian people and their authority, stressing the halting of violence in the Palestinian territories.
