Jordan starts tourism programs for world journalists

Jordan has started tourism programs for journalists from all countries of the world in order to get acquainted closely with the security and stability Jordan enjoys and to see its Arab and Islamic historical monuments.

Within this context a Hungarian tourism delegation including 140 persons will start today a visit to Jordan that will last for five days. This group which includes 50 journalists representing main press and owners of tourism offices and companies in Hungary.

Sources at the Jordanian ministry of tourism said that the ministry has laid a program that enables members of the delegation to get acquainted with several touristic and historical areas in Jordan including Nabo mountain; Maeen baths, Petra city, and al-Aqaba and the Dead sea areas and the place where the Christ was baptized.
