Lebanese invitation to Kuwait to attend the Arab summit

The Lebanese minister of defense Khalil al-Hrawi arrived in Kuwait on Monday evening carrying an invitation from the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud to the ruler of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah to attend the ordinary Arab summit conference due to be held in Beirut in March.
In an arrival statement to pressmen al-Hrawi stressed that the Arabs are in need of solidarity in this difficult and critical phase to withstand challenges imposed on the Palestinian people, in particular and the Arab states, in general.
The Lebanese minister warned that the peace project in the Middle East is passing a grave state because of the Israeli intransigence.
