King Mohammed receives Palestinian president's envoy

Morocco's King Mohammed VI received in Tangiers on Tuesday, Hakam Belaoui, member of the central committee of the Fatah movement, of the Palestinian Legislative Council and envoy of Palestinian president Yasser Arafat to the sovereign. The king expressed deep worries and concerns over the critical development in the Palestinian issue. The sovereign also renewed the Moroccan people's full and strong solidarity with the Palestinian people and their national leadership, chaired by Yasser Arafat.
Belaoui, who was accompanied by Palestinian ambassador Abu Marwane, handed the sovereign a message from the Palestinian president on the dangerous development in the Palestinian issue and the situation in the Palestinian territories.
Morocco's minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Mohamed Benaissa, and head of the sovereign's office, Mohamed Rochdi Chraibi were present at the meeting.
