OIC for maintaining solidarity to unify Muslim ranks

The secretary general of the Organization of the Islamic Conference OIC Abdul Wahid Balqaziz has called on Muslims to maintain solidarity and unify their position to challenge foreign dangers threatening the Islamic nation.
In a speech he delivered before the 25th session of the Islamic committee for social, cultural and economic affairs, he said that the implementation of the cultural strategy of the Arab world is necessary especially amid such conditions of destiny.
Balqaziz called on member states at the OIC to strengthen their trade and economic cooperation and to found the Common Islamic market.
However, the agenda of the 25th session of the Islamic committee which started deliberations on Saturday in al-Riyadh includes a study for the economic condition of the Islamic states, founding a common Islamic market, studying environment problems in the Islamic world especially the adverse impact on the environment in the Palestinian territories, the occupied Syrian Golan heights and the occupied Lebanese territories.
