Construction of second lane of road surrounding Tetouan

Morocco's King Mohammed VI on Monday launched construction works of a second lane of the road ring in the northern city of Tetouan.
The king heard explanations on the 9-km-long road to cost 45.5 million Dirhams ($ 3.95 million) to be paid by the Moroccan Agency for the Development of the Northern Provinces.
The road will alleviate urban traffic and the traffic of trucks heading for the city's industrial zone and bus station. The King also heard explanation on another project to build a second lane of the national road N. 13. The project scheduled for 2002-2003 will cost 223 million Dirhams ($ 19.39 million).
