A message from al-Bashir to al-Qaddafi

Libyan President Muammar al-Qaddafi on Sunday received a message from the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir dealing with bilateral relations and Arab and international issues of mutual concern as well as the results of IGAD's summit recently held in Khartoum.

The message was handed by the personal envoy of the Sudanese President Awad Ahmad al-Jaz the minister of energy and minerals in Sudan during his meeting with al- Qaddafi and members of the accompanying delegation.

Earlier in the day, the secretary of the Libyan people's committee for oil ( Oil minister ) discussed with the Sudanese minister prospects of cooperation between the two states in the areas of oil and gas and joint investments between the two states in this regard.
