Kuwait, Iran for strengthening bilateral relations

The Iranian foreign minister Kamal Kharazi on Saturday in Tehran discussed with Kuwait's minister of state for foreign affairs Sheikh Muhammad Sabah al-Salem al-Sabah means of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and latest conditions in the Middle East pertinent to the Palestinian question, the Afghani issue and regional and international problems.
The two ministers underlined the importance of regional cooperation and dealing with issues of the region. They agreed to form a six-member political committee for regular consultation to strengthen political relations between the two countries and exchanging view points regarding issues of mutual concern to the region.
Kharazzi and al-Sabah asserted the acceleration of implementing signed agreements between the two countries and strengthening relations between the two private sectors in the two countries and the exchange of experts in the areas of commerce, energy, gas and waters.
The commended relations existing between the two countries and described them as excellent and will witness a qualitative leap in the near future.
Kharazi stressed that it is ripe time to attain a comprehensive cooperation for a better future for the countries and peoples of the region through strengthening relations among countries.
