Moroccan organization made observer member in Arab Human Rights body

The Arab League has endorsed the adherence of the Moroccan Human Rights Organization (OMDH/independent) as observer member to the Arab Human Rights Commission, the secretariat general of the Cairo-based pan-Arab Organization announced.
The league's Secretary General notified OMDH of its membership in the Commission in accordance with a 1992 decision of the League and with the Organization's new orientation to cooperate with Ngos active in the field of human rights, the OMDH said in a communiqu?.
The OMDH is member of several international and regional human rights bodies, including the International Federation for Human Rights (Paris), the International Commission of Jurists (Geneva), the Arab Organization for Human Rights (Cairo) and the Euro-Mediterranean Network for Human Rights (Copenhagen).
It is also observer member of the African Human Rights Commission (Based in Banjul, Gambia).
