Morocco, Thailand to sign tourism accord

Morocco and Thailand will sign shortly an accord to foster bilateral cooperation in tourism, Ms. Busaya Mathelin, charg? d'affaires at the Thai embassy in Rabat, announced on Friday.
The diplomat made the announcement to MAP following a meeting between a visiting Thai MP delegation and the Wali of Marrakesh, Mohamed Hassad.
The accord is likely to open wide horizons for cooperation between Morocco and Thailand in other economic sectors, she said.
The Thai delegation is visiting Morocco in quest of stronger cooperation between Rabat and Bangkok, especially in the realms of tourism, agriculture and fisheries.
Ms. Mathelin said the Thai delegation was satisfied over the talks they held so far with Moroccan officials.
