Isreal tightens relations with India

The Israeli radio said on Thursday that the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon will on February pay an official visit to India to discuss bilateral relations and to discuss what is described as terrorism.

The radio said by this visit which will be made by Sharon, it will be the first by an Israeli prime minister to India, noting that the talks will be deal with current contacts between the two countries on the deal of selling early warning Falcon Israeli made anti - missiles Heits missiles.

The radio indicated that the US will pressure Israel to postpone the forthcoming deal between India and Israel concerning Falcon planes, the same as it did before when it pressured Tel Aviv to cancel the plane deal of the same type to China.

On the other hand, the Israeli radio reported that Israel and China signed on Thursday a deal to sell Beijing two satellites for telecommunications produced by the Israeli air industries at a cost of USD 250 million.

A high ranking Israeli delegation chaired by the minister of telecommunications left on Thursday evening to Beijing to sign the agreement concerning the new deal. The Chinese intend to use the two Israeli satellites of Ammous type to broadcast TV reports from the Olympic stadiums in Beijing in 2008.
