Jordanian king confers with parliament member in China

Jordanian King Abdullah II in Beijing on Friday met with the chairman of the people's national society ( Chinese parliament) Lee Ping before he headed to Shanghai.
News reports said quoting a Chinese official media source as saying that King Abdullah expressed during the meeting his hope that China will play an important role in resolving suspended issues in the Middle East region.
