German FM calls on Israelis, Palestinians to resume negotiations

Germany has called on the Palestinian and Israeli sides to exert all efforts at the support of the international community in order to get out of the cycle of violence and to resume negotiations between the two sides.
In a press statement, the German foreign minister Yushka Fischer expressed his country's regret for the fact that the Israel and Palestinian sides did not resort to calm during the past weeks in the occupied Palestinian territories.
