Moroccan ambassador hands credentials to president of Honduras

Morocco's ambassador to Mexico and Central America, Youssef Amrani, on Wednesday handed his credentials to outgoing President of Honduras, Carlos Roberto Flores, as Morocco's non-resident ambassador to Tegucigalpa.
During the meeting, President Flores voiced satisfaction over the excellent relations existing between Morocco and Honduras.
Morocco and Honduras signed several cooperation accords during the official visit Honduras foreign minister paid to Rabat in April 2001.
On Tuesday, King Mohammed VI had sent a message of congratulations and friendship to Ricardo Maduro, on the occasion of his election president of Honduras.
President Maduro will be sworn-in on January 27 in Tegucigalpa.
