New sports facility in Tangiers

Morocco's King Mohammed VI laid on Thursday the foundation stone for the construction of a sports complex in the northern city of Tangiers.The king heard explanations on the facility, to be built over 82 hectares. The complex will include a 45,000-seat football stadium that can be extended to 60,000 seats with 17,000-seat grandstands, a 2,500-seat VIP stand and a 3,000-seat press stand.
Two training pitches will be built part of the complex that will also be endowed with a press centre and other state of the art infrastructure.
