Morocco, China convene meeting on trade and investment

A Chinese-Moroccan meeting on Trade and investment was held in Peking Wednesday.
The meeting was meant to explore means of promoting commercial exchanges between China and Morocco, and creating more business opportunities, especially in the fields of exportation and investment.
Moroccan Ambassador to China surveyed before the meeting Morocco's investment assets and insisted that investing in Morocco was safe. Morocco, which is one of the safest and most stable countries, is the crossroad of trades and civilizations, he said. The diplomat also underscored the excellent relationship binding Morocco and China since 1956.
The volume of trade between Morocco and China reached US$ 309.3 Mln in 1999 and US$ 366 Mln in 2000.
